Executive Officer II(s)
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) managing the School's and its programmes marketing and promotion, including creating comprehensive marketing plans, producing engaging content, utilising social media to enhance the School's visibility, and creating partnerships with local and overseas organisations to support school programs and initiatives (b) planning and co-ordinating the School's and programmes activities and events, leading the planning and organising process, and ensuring their smooth completion (c) organising alumni events, maintaining alumni databases, and fostering strong connections with alumni (d) undertaking general liaison with departments and external parties (e) conducting outreach activities locally and outside Hong Kong, including firm visits and study trips, such as liaising with local/overseas companies, educational institutions, travel agencies, and other organisations (f) handling financial matters and budgeting of the School (g) handling HR matters of the School and (h) performing other tasks as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (iv) excellent organisational, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills (v) the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines and (vi) a self-motivated and hard-working work attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics. Having good computer literacy, strong data analysis and multi-tasking skills will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory. The university operates in both English and Chinese, although classes in most colleges are taught in English. Four Nobel laureates are associated with the university, and it is the only tertiary institution in Hong Kong with recipients of the Nobel Prize, Turing Award, Fields Medal and Veblen Prize sitting as faculty in residence.
