Reporting to the Team Head of the Central and Academic Administration team within the Office of MBA Programmes (the Office), the successful candidate will play a key role in crafting and implementing communication strategies that drive stakeholder engagement, foster strategic alliances, and enhance the programme's overall competitiveness. This role benefits from a solid business background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to navigate the academic-industry interface to create value for the MBA Programmes.
The appointee will be responsible for:
He/She will undertake ad hoc or updated duties as assigned by the Administrative Director (or his delegate). Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with occasional overseas travel, will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a related discipline (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification experience in alumni engagement, business development, strategic alliances or related roles, preferably in tertiary education sector (iv) strong self-motivation, organisation and a high sense of accountability (v) demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team (vi) proven excellence in cross-sector communication and interpersonal skills (vii) the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment (viii) proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), Canva, Adobe and Chinese word-processing applications and (ix) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test and interview.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
