The MBA Programmes of the CUHK Business School (CUHK MBA) are distinguished by their Global Academic Excellence, LEAP Programme with BEAM Ecosystem, and Asian Century Focus. The MBA Programme Office (the Office) operates with a working culture characterised by Professionalism with Hearts, Dynamic Value Creation, and Steward of Growth. The Communications, Students and Stakeholders Team (CSS) is one of the three functional teams of the Office.
Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Office, the appointee(s) will focus on areas of student affairs within the Student Learning and Development sub-team (SLD) of CSS. Duties includes (a) acting as the primary administrative in-charge to support the head of the CSS in planning, overseeing and implementing all student learning and administration affairs as listed afterwards (b) serving as the main contact point(s) and help desk for students to promptly address their inquiries related to student learning and administration (c) fostering engagement within the student community by crafting, curating, and disseminating informative and engaging newsletter content (d) providing pastoral care and campus life advice to students through a comprehensive range of communication, administrative, and logistical services (e) supporting students for their classroom learning experience in credit-bearing courses over the weekdays and weekends, including assisting them in accessing campus and classroom resources and facilities (f) overseeing various learning and student portals (g) providing student financial services, managing learning stationary supplies, and maintaining complete and accurate student information and study records both digitally and physically (h) supporting beyond-classroom learning experiences through the CUHK MBA LEAP Programme, which includes various student development events, schemes, initiatives, and outreach activities (i) collaborating with the colleagues of the Academic Affairs team to provide guidance and support to MBA students regarding academic progress, academic applications, course selection, and programme learning requirements, while ensuring adherence to class attendance, academic standards and policies in all aspects of the MBA programmes (j) organising and conducting student questionnaire surveys, as well as preparing various directories, handbooks, and reports related to student learning and administrative affairs and (k) performing other impromptu and administrative duties as assigned. Compulsory working at weekends, flexible hours, and occasional business travel will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification executive experience (for Executive Officer II) and at least 8 years post-qualification executive experience (for Executive Officer I) (iv) the ability to listen and communicate effectively, maintain positive rapport with a diverse group of high-performing students, and support them in their learning journey (v) excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills (vi) the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to deliver results while being an effective contributor as part of a close-knit team environment (vii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and (viii) the willingness to work for daily operational and implementation tasks in the team.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory.
