Environment Engineer

Role Summary

The Environment Expert provide his/her input for site EHS and Business Leader and/or management team for robust EHS Compliance culture. Manage the wastewater treatment, domestic waste, business waste, recycled waste and ensure in compliance with local Environmental Regulation and GE Aviation Global EHS standard. Support EHS team operation and conduct Environmental reporting and tracking in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Tracking and analysis WWTP system & devices.

Monitor and analysis domestic waste, business waste, recycled waste and sludge.

Ensure storage area no potential spill and schedule preventative maintenance in good condition.

Audit and verify the 3rd party waste treatment certification and contract.

Follow written procedures & regulatory requirement in managing the waste storage area. Ensure proper documentation for 3rd party collection and disposal.

Keep accurate records of wastewater analysis data and waste data for required reporting to HQ (Gensuite) and local authorities.

Conduct the environmental regulatory compliance assessment and identify gaps and improvement actions for tracking and completion timely.

Manage the compliance of environmental permit (air, wastewater, waste disposal and toxic chemical substance).

Work closely with Guanyin site EHS team and support Guanyin& Taoyuan site Environment management system.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor&aposs degree from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience in Environmental

Training and Certification

Wastewater certification class A, toxic chemical substance certificates class B, Waste Treatment certificate class A, Toxic chemical Emergency response.

Occupational safety certificates class A or B will be a plus.
