As the Global EHS & Sustainability (EHS&S) Sr Audit Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of EHS&S ISO management systems and execution of audit program to validate EHS&S performance against Micron internal and external standards.

The successful candidate will assume an expert role and provide leadership, direction, education, and overall strategic management of the company's EHS&S ISO management systems and audit program.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and conduct EHS&S auditsto ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, Micron EHS internal standards, and external international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and RBA.
  • Coordinate audit schedulesbetween multiple international sites with internal and external business partners, including Customer Support and other RBA-related stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plansto ensure timely completion and follow-up audits when required.
  • Participate in nonconformity review and root cause analysisto identify and address systemic issues.
  • Analyze audit data for trends and systemic issuesto demonstrate the effectiveness of the audit program.
  • Monitor and evaluate process connectivityto identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that EHS&S management systems are effectively supporting overall business goals.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of EHS&S management systemsthrough lessons learned and adoption of best practices.
  • Identify and implement process enhancementsthat improve connectivity between EHS&S management systems and other organizational functions, such as production, quality, and supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain process mapsthat illustrate the interconnections between EHS&S management systems and other business processes, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Leverage technology and data analyticsto enhance process connectivity and streamline information flow between EHS&S management systems and other business processes.
  • Ensure alignmentof EHS&S management systems with corporate sustainability initiatives and business process improvement projects.
  • Develop and monitor metricsto measure the effectiveness of EHS&S management systems and audit processes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoringto new or less experienced auditors at global and site levels.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationshipswith stakeholders at all levels.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant auditor's certification: Accredited ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 lead auditor training by a certified third party.
  • Data Analytics and Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to analyze process and audit data and identify improvement opportunities including leveraging technology to enhance process connectivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Including proficiency in root cause analysis tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and multi-language ability such as Chinese, Malay, and Japanese is desired.
  • Strong ability to communicate in different cultural and professional settings: Demonstrated capability to adapt communication styles to diverse cultural and professional environments, fostering understanding and cooperation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and geographies: Comfortable navigating different departments and locations with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to integrate processes across different departments.
  • Strong team player skills: Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines: Manage tasks efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Guided by business objectives: Determine the best methods for delivering results aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in independently completing complex tasks: Demonstrated ability to handle challenging assignments autonomously.

Education Required:

Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in an Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Occupational Health Safety), Science or another relevant degree

Experience Required:

  • Auditing Experience: Minimum 5 years in EHS&S management systems auditing, with international audit experience in multinational corporations preferred.
  • Operational Experience: At least 5 years in EHS&S operations and management systems within manufacturing, ideally in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials, equipment, and processes in electronics manufacturing and related EHS&S risks.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Proven experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with EHS&S standards.
  • Integrity and Resiliency: High level of integrity and resiliency in audit processes.
  • Process Improvement: Successful track record in leading and implementing projects that enhance process connectivity and efficiency.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Effective negotiation skills and ability to handle confrontation.
  • Influence and Consensus Building: Ability to influence, build consensus, and resolve conflicts at all organizational levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.
