Summary

Program Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented E-commerce Intern to join the Hyatt Greater China digital team based in Hong Kong, with a commitment to a minimum 6-month internship. This role focuses on supporting the day-to-day operation and marketing of Hyatt's direct channels, as well as assisting in the ideation, planning, development, launch, and optimization of new digital initiatives.

You will also gain hands-on experience in supporting Hyatt's e-commerce operations across key platforms in China, as well as involvement in related finance tracking and reporting. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn and contribute across the full digital marketing lifecycle in the hospitality industry.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Function

  • Support the daily operation and marketing activities across Hyatt's official channels and 3rd party channels.
  • Participate in Hyatt's e-commerce operations on key China platforms (Fliggy and Ctrip), including product launch, promotional setup, and performance monitoring focusing on non-China hotels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Revenue, Distribution, Customer Services, Finance) and external agencies to ensure smooth execution of digital campaigns & initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key China platform representatives to align the program details, program creative design and setup.
  • Assist in creating and localizing products, marketing materials and toolkits, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and mainly translating from English to Chinese and communicate back to non-China hotels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on channel and campaign performance using analytics tools to derive actionable insights.
  • Assist in financial-related tasks such as tracking campaign budgets, reconciling platform expenses, and supporting basic ROI reporting.

Qualifications

  • Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field

  • Language Skills: a good working knowledge of English and proficiency in local language is an advantage

  • Experience: relevant internship & work experience in hotel or hospitality operations is an advantage

  • Skills: strong communication & interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and cultural awareness

  • Computer Skills: proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
