Director of Market Development.

Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan, Ltd is the headquarter of Diodes Division, one of the world's leading manufacturers of discrete semiconductors--Diodes, Rectifiers and TVS. We are one of the earliest foreign electronic companies established in Taiwan. We provide you with responsible and ethical leadership and encourage open communication with our employees, governmental agencies, suppliers, contractors and industry groups. We are located in the heart of Xindian District, New Taipei City, where the public transportation and living functions are quite convenient, just 10 minutes walking distance from Qizhang MRT Station and Yulong City Mall.
What You Will Be Doing
- Promote our focused products and drive sales growth in key market segments
- Oversee product technical promotion and application supports enabling customers to choose the best diodes solution from Vishay
- Maximize sales and margins at our focus market segments worldwide
- Work with Product Line Marketing to define and initiate new product for development to support product application roadmaps
- Update application trends and competitive environment of key markets
- Coordinate Product Marketing resources to support major customer meetings/technical conferences for the division
What You Will Bring Along
- Master degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics or Electrical related
- Minimum 12 years technical sales/marketing experience in semiconductor or electronic system. Several years management experience is a plus.
- Growth driven and business minded
- Fluent in English
- Capable to work in cross-functional team environment
- Traveling is required
