Job Description

The Regional Business Development Director role focuses on driving market expansion, regional trading, and cross-border commercial strategy in commodities (such as energy and non-ferrous metals).

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline and Deal Structuring: Develop and manage a sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams like legal and compliance.
  • Market Expansion: Drive market entry strategies and identify new cross-border trade opportunities across APAC.
  • Commercial Strategy: Monitor commodity market dynamics (like thermal coal or non-ferrous metals) and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain networks with suppliers, trading partners, and enterprise clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in international business development, commodities trading, or regional market strategy.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred to communicate with management and partners in China.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Finance, or Economics.
