Roles and responsibilities:

Agency Performance Management and Insights

  • Lead the on-going enhancement and automation of Agency Distribution Dashboard that drives consistent and timely data intelligence of agency key performance metrics, to enable effective performance review conversations
  • Lead in-depth analysis of Agency distribution drivers to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in both sales activity management and portfolio growth. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance based on data-driven insights.
  • Lead Agency competitor analysis and market benchmarking across Prudential's key Agency markets, to identify risk and growth opportunity
  • Drive the implementation of PruWay of Performance Management by working closely with Agency teams in market, and enforce robust performance management cadence to deliver disciplined and effective sales management rhythm and outcome
  • Support the deployment of the Gen AI performance tools across the LBUs and consolidation in the Group Office for better forecasting and delivery of results

Strategy and Business Planning:

  • Manage the annual planning process within the Group Office
  • Deep collaboration with LBUs to enable a dynamic methodology of strategic planning, and develop detailed bottom-up annual/3-year plans for Agency
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in business planning to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Support on-going Agency business management activities, including GEC/Board update, Quarterly business review and relevant Agency governance related activities

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Strong strategic and business acumen, relevant experience in business management, insurance distribution, sales management, strategic transformation or related field.
  • Strong data analytics skills with ability to integrate and translate data into actionable insights with informative and meaningful analysis to facilitate performance dialogue and management decision
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Experience with insurance distribution, strategic projects, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management.
  • Experience in financial modelling and efficiency in use of MIS tools such as Power BI to drive continuous enhancement of business performance management
  • Effective team player with ablility to communicate effectively across multiple levels and navigate ambiguity
