Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager or Senior Manager of Digital Transformation to strategically lead and execute key digital transformation initiatives specifically within the Human Resources domain. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both HR processes and emerging technologies. This role is crucial for driving organizational change, delivering impactful digital solutions, and optimizing operations to enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy & Alignment: Partner closely with HR leadership to pinpoint pain points and digital optimization opportunities. Ensure digital initiatives are strategically aligned with overall business goals.
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Take the lead on planning, executing, and successfully delivering HR-focused digital transformation projectsfrom initial concept through implementation and post-launch support. This includes defining scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Process Re-engineering: Analyze current HR processes to identify areas for significant improvement. Design and implement optimized, future-state processes by leveraging technologies such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA), AI/Machine Learning (AI/ML), cloud-based platforms, and advanced data analytics.
- Technology Assessment: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate digital solutions and technologies to meet HR business requirements, collaborating closely with the IT department and external vendors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate robust working relationships with HR, Finance, IT, and other critical stakeholders. Effectively manage expectations, communicate project status transparently, and secure necessary buy-in for transformation efforts.
- Change Management: Develop and deploy effective change management strategies, including comprehensive communication plans and training programs, to ensure high user adoption of new systems and processes.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and manage relationships with external consultants and technology vendors to ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Performance Measurement: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital transformation projects and monitor post-implementation effectiveness to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with digital transformation projects and develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside other members of the Digital Transformation Office to share best practices, pool collective expertise, and maintain consistency across all transformation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or consulting, with a significant focus on leading complex digital transformation projects.
- HR Focus: Demonstrated track record of managing projects specifically within the HR domain (e.g., HRIS implementations, talent management systems, employee experience platforms).
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of digital transformation concepts, methodologies, and enabling technologies (e.g., RPA, AI/ML, cloud computing, data analytics, low-code/no-code platforms).
- Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at various levels, and successfully drive results in a dynamic and complex organizational environment.
- Core Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications (Plus): Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an asset.
- Industry Experience (Plus): Experience within the manufacturing or technology sector is a plus.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
