About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to take the wheel of the global ASUS Pressroom — home to one of the most visible newsrooms in tech. Sitting within the Corporate Communications Center, you'll own how ASUS tells its story to global media, while leading the department's AI adoption from the front. We're in an exciting period of transformation — constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in communications — and we want someone who's ready to drive that change, not just support it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pressroom Operations

  • Maintain assets (media kits, photos, videos, press releases) with accuracy and consistency.
  • Keep the Pressroom current across all content types — news, blogs, press releases, and announcements — ensuring global media always has what they need.

2. AI Search & SEO

  • Optimize content structure, metadata, and tagging to improve discoverability.
  • Work with the web agency and AI team to enhance AI-powered search and recommendations.
  • Track performance metrics and act on them.

3. AI Workflow Automation

  • Identify repetitive tasks and deploy AI agents to handle them.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging AI tools for practical team use.
  • Help colleagues adopt new tools through knowledge-sharing and simple guides.

4. Vendor & IT Coordination

  • Bridge external vendors and internal IT to deliver on department goals.
  • Own follow-through — track deliverables, resolve blockers, hold vendors accountable.

Qualifications

  • 7–8 years in digital marketing operations, content management, or brand communications (tech/media preferred).
  • Proven experience managing a brand newsroom, press portal, or large-scale digital content platform.
  • Hands-on SEO experience with tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console — you've moved metrics, not just monitored them.
  • Demonstrated AI deployment experience — you've built or trained agents to automate real workflows, not just experimented with tools.
  • Strong vendor and IT coordination — comfortable holding external partners accountable and translating department needs into technical briefs.
  • Clear, concise communicator who can turn data into decisions and present findings without hand-holding.
  • Bilingual English proficiency is a strong advantage.
