Job Summary:
This is a newly created position in the HR CoE team within a global manufacturing company. Reporting into the Senior Manager, C&B, the Deputy Manager/Manager, C&B will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of compensation & benefits functions at the Group level, partnering closely with local HR teams to ensure compliance with compensation & benefits guidelines while performing hands-on data analysis and modeling needed to keep compensation programs equitable, scalable, and market-aligned.
Responsibilities:
- Policy Development & Harmonization: Provide support from the design of compensation and benefits programs to align with global rewards strategies, till harmonizing practices across regions while meeting local regulatory requirements.
- Annual Rewards Cycles: Partner with local HR teams to facilitate the end-to-end execution of annual compensation reviews across the regions to ensure transparency, clarity, and equity are complied with the local labour laws and global C&B guidelines.
- Job Architecture: Conduct job evaluation upon request and maintain the structural integrity of the global leveling framework.
- Market Benchmarking: Conduct regular participation in salary surveys and perform deep-dive market pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
- Data Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze complex compensation data, including cost modeling, employee impact analysis, and market intelligence to support decision-making and strategic recommendations, as well as to coordinate manpower budgeting processes with relevant departments.
- Project Management: Design and execute HR related projects, including the management of HR vendors, to ensure timely delivery and positive value creation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: at least 6 years of experience in C&B; prior experience as an Analyst with regional exposure and aspiration to progress is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. The GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) designation is a plus.
Skills:
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., nested formulas, modeling) and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle).
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to translate large datasets from multiple sources into meaningful recommendations and actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Language: Must be fully proficient in written and spoken English, as this role requires drafting of global guidelines and engaging with international stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) designation is a plus.
