<Responsibilities>
- Data exploration & reverse engineering: Use data engineering techniques and domain knowledge to clarify data definitions and business logic, transforming raw data into structured datasets
- Pipeline development: Build and optimize automated data pipelines using data engineering, APIs, LLMs, and vibe coding
- Architecture design: Partner with PMs to define technical solutions, design modular data frameworks, and ensure high availability and reliability in cloud environments
<Required Skills>
- Hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related fields
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP ecosystems, with the ability to choose appropriate services (e.g., BigQuery, Lambda, Airflow)
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor), with the ability to review and refactor AI-generated code
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
<Preferred Skills>
- Experience building data lakehouse architecture from scratch and onboarding new data sources
- Experience as a PM or independently leading data projects
