Role Summary We are building a comprehensive ESG Digital Platform that will serve as the backbone of our ESG initiatives - including regulation & insight explorer, carbon management, and sustainability reporting (CSRD, GRI, IFRS). The platform integrates internal ESG-related systems and external ESG datasets into a governed, high-quality data foundation that powers reporting, analytics, and AI-driven insights. As a Data Engineer, you will focus on designing, building, and maintaining the core data pipelines and governance frameworks. While this is primarily a technical engineering role, your work will directly enable the organization to deliver trusted ESG data applications, supporting the company's long-term sustainability goals. ____________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Data Platform Development - Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across internal and external systems. - Develop and optimize cloud-native data models, taxonomies, and storage/processing frameworks in adherence to corporate governance standards. 2.Integration & Connectivity - Build and manage API-based data services for corporate systems and external ESG data integration. - Connect legacy systems and reconcile external datasets (e.g., supplier ratings, renewable energy data, emission factors). 3. Collaboration & Support - Partner with Corporate IT, ESG teams, and vendors on platform development and enhancements. - Document workflows, data dictionaries, and integration guides to support long-term platform sustainability. - Coordinate with stakeholders across ESG, IT, and business teams to ensure alignment.
