Customs and Traffic Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all import and export activities comply with applicable laws and government regulations.

2. Manage and execute required permits, licenses, and compliance documentation for import/export shipments.

3. Review contracts to ensure all required clauses are included and identify any omissions.

4. Coordinate with internal and external customers, overseas order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth logistics and shipment flow.

5. Select Hyve-authorized carriers/forwarders for product shipments.

6. Prepare necessary documents (e.g., commercial invoices) for material transfers among Hyve entities and for Hyve export operations.

7. Record all shipment-related costs and perform cost analysis.

8. Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure the most secure and cost-effective transportation of Hyve materials.

Other:

1. 25 years of experience in import/export, logistics, supply chain, or related fields.

2. Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and global logistics.

3. Basic contract review skills is a plus.

4. Good command of English in reading, writing, and communication.

5. Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.
