Role Description

We are looking for a driven and experienced Freight Forwarding Executive to join our team. This is a fully remote position suited to a self-motivated professional who can manage end-to-end freight operations independently while maintaining strong client relationships.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle daily operations to deliver the highest level of customer service, maintaining excellent client relations through efficient coordination across operational and customer service functions.
  • Manage end-to-end airfreight forwarding shipments, including booking, documentation, coordination with airlines and ground handlers, customs clearance, export documentation, billing, and shipment closure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on import and export shipments, providing timely updates, handling inquiries, and resolving operational issues professionally.
  • Coordinate with airlines, shipping companies, ground handling agents, trucking partners, and customs authorities to ensure smooth shipment execution and regulatory compliance.
  • Take ownership of complex or high-value shipments, proactively resolving delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs queries.
  • Ensure all shipment records, job invoices, and regulatory documentation are accurately maintained and processed on a timely basis for internal, customer, and regulatory purposes.
  • Work closely with the Manager, Operations, and Sales teams to investigate and resolve customer feedback and complaints promptly.
  • Correspond with overseas agents and clients on operational requests and issues as required.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations

• Hands-on experience across at least two freight mode (air, sea, or land); multi-modal experience preferred

• Familiarity with Singapore customs regulations and documentation requirements

• Proficient in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Able to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting
