Founded in 2015 and acquired by TDK in 2018, Faraday Semi is a fast-growing semiconductor company with innovations in systems solutions focused on power management through DC-DC power conversion. Faraday Semi solutions incorporate high performance semiconductor in advanced packaging technologies such as semiconductor embedded in substrate (SESUB) and advanced electronic components to achieve unique system integration in a smaller size and lower profile by 3D assembly. This results in the world's smallest class of high power density Point of Load solutions (product brand: POL). This integration allows TDK to improve systems efficiency and reduce system costs for customers around the world, in ICT, industrial devices and automotive markets.

About the Role: Faraday Semi seeks a Corporate Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and reliability based on the company's product Life Cycle model (Power Management focused). This critical role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our semiconductor products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in our semiconductor products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements quality management system (QMS) organizational processes, documentation, and records.
  • Manages corporate QMS activities including, but not limited to, ISO 9001 certification/audits, document control, change management, MRB, 8D, and corporate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leads quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements, and drives corrective and preventive actions.
  • Implements and supports initiatives that establish and improve efficiency and effectiveness through the organization as part of the company quality objectives.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, inquiries, and escalations.
  • Manages compliance reports (REACH/RoHS, conflict minerals).
  • Manages product reliability and new product qualification.
  • Develops policies, procedures, and methods to verify product, material, and component reliability along the entire value chain (production partner, material supplier) and operational quality improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective PCN/ EOL notification system.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry in a combination of quality management and semiconductor product/process engineering.
  • Lead auditor certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Automotive semiconductor quality experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills, organizational skills, program management capability, and the ability of managing multiple projects with competing priorities in parallel.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay range and compensation package: These are standard benefits as required by Taiwan employment law.
