Job Description

About the Role

Are you ready to play a critical role in shaping growth at Uber Eats Taiwan As the Consumer Operations Manager (Insights & Analytics), you will work closely with a high-performing Operations team that drives the day-to-day consumer engine behind Uber Eats. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of data, business decisions, and execution, helping turn complexity into clarity and insight into action.

Your primary focus will be to deeply understand local market dynamics and competitive context, track and evaluate the performance of our initiatives, and assess how campaigns, incentives, and product levers impact users across the entire lifecycle. You will own analytical problem-solving end to end - from framing ambiguous business questions, to designing the right analyses, to interpreting results that inform real decisions.

With strong analytical rigor and business acumen, you will translate complex, cross-lifecycle datasets into clear insights and practical recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, collaborating with cross-functional peers, and grounding discussions in data while staying close to business realities.

If you're excited by the opportunity to influence growth at scale, work on problems that matter, and see your analysis directly shape how Uber Eats operates in Taiwan, we invite you to seize this opportunity and join us.

What you'll do

Performance tracking:

 • Track and evaluate the performance of consumer initiatives, ensuring results are clearly understood and consistently measured
 • Monitor trends in user behavior, campaign outcomes, and investment efficiency to identify risks and opportunities
 • Develop clear performance views that help teams understand what is driving results and where optimizations are needed

Competition / Market insights:

 • Stay close to local market dynamics and competitive activity, translating external changes into meaningful business context
 • Analyze how market and competitive shifts influence user behavior and growth performance
 • Partner with cross-functional teams to assess how market changes impact user behavior, campaign performance, and lifecycle outcomes

Actions-driven consumer insights:

 • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, including identifying the right metrics, cohorts, and interpretations
 • Deep dive into complex consumer datasets to uncover insights that inform growth tactics and operational decisions
 • Move beyond reporting to clearly articulate so what and now what, helping teams move from insight to actions

User lifecycle insights/analysis:

 • Analyze user behavior across different stages of the user journey to identify key growth and retention opportunities
 • Evaluate how product, affordability, campaigns, and user experiences influence user movement across lifecycle stages
 • Partner with Operations teams to apply lifecycle insights to improve campaign design and user strategies

What you'll need

 • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in business or data analytics, consulting, market research, or online platforms
 • App/Online Platform Background: Proven experience analyzing consumer-facing app or online platform data, with a strong track record in user funnel analysis and evaluating marketing or incentive ROI is a strong plus
 • Data Proficiency: Strong hands-on analytical capabilities using SQL and advanced spreadsheet modeling (Excel or Google Sheets). Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, intuitive charts and data stories that support decision-making. Python & BI tools (e.g. Tableau) experience is a plus
 • Business acumen: Strong understanding of how a three-sided marketplace operates, including consumer levers and interrelationships of key metrics, with the ability to keep the big picture in mind in day-to-day work
 • Communication Skills: Clear and structured verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insights, assumptions, and implications to cross-functional partners
 • Self-Starter & Ownership: Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in ambiguous problem spaces, while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
 • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree (BA, BS, MSc or MBA)
 • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Mandarin, especially written and spoken

About Company

Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.
The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
