A Construction HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site HVAC system installation and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
This role plays a key part in coordinating contractors, managing quality control, and supporting system testing and commissioning on construction sites.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-site HVAC installation work in accordance with construction plans and specifications.
- Ensure HVAC system installation complies with local regulations, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
- Oversee and inspect ductwork, piping, equipment setup, and insulation work on-site.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to resolve on-site issues.
- Monitor project schedule, quality, and cost control related to HVAC works.
- Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports or inspection records.
- Assist with HVAC system testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Support project handover and final documentation preparation.
Show Your Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 23 years of relevant experience in HVAC construction for industrial or cleanroom facilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, including chilled water, air handling units, ventilation, and duct design.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC engineering drawings and construction documents.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and HVAC system codes.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant software is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Language: Chinese (native level) , English (beginner level).
