Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Application Automation, you will drive automation transformation across geographies for clients and analyze client application portfolios to identify automation opportunities. You will leverage your expertise in AI/GenAI, RPA products, and process/task mining tools to propose an automation journey tailored to each client's needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyze Client Portfolios: Analyze client application portfolios to identify automation opportunities and propose an automation journey, utilizing your knowledge of AI/GenAI, RPA products, and process/task mining tools.
- Develop Automation Solutions: Write process definition documents (PDD), test cases, and manage change to deliver tailored automation solutions that meet client needs.
- Position IBM Differentiators: Utilize your understanding of IBM differentiators, such as IT/AI Operations, Digital Workers, and Agent/User Assist, to position them effectively in client solutions.
- Measure Outcomes: Measure outcomes for in-scope use cases/processes to ensure successful automation transformation.
- Leverage IBM Platforms: Utilize IDCP (IBM Delivery Central Platform) and IBM Consulting Advantage platform, including Methodx, assets, and assistants, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
l 8+ years of professional experience, with 8+ years in software development within financial services, including 5+ years in application architecture or solution design roles.
l Proficiency in Java Spring Boot with hands-on experience in front-end frameworks such as Angular or Due
l Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies
l Practical experience with EFK, Kafka, and Redis
l Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and leadership capability to mentor junior team members
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
l Project experience and domain knowledge in the insurance industry
l Hands-on project experience in financial core system transformation
l Hands-on experience with DevOps toolchains and container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift
