Molex is seeking a Business Development Specialist with experience in the Datacom/Hyperscale industry to serve our Taiwan-based ODM customer. This role plays a critical part in delivering advanced Datacom/Hyperscale solutions that address our customers toughest challenges. As a highly visible sales position, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering the best products in the world to the market.
Our Team
You will collaborate closely with a focused team of account managers, program managers, and cross-functional internal teams. This role involves direct engagement with our customers program and engineering teams, working alongside account managers to foster strong collaboration and ensure successful program execution. The team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driven by innovation and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Manage ODM programs ensuring alignment with both customer requirements and internal objectives.
- Collect and analyze program forecasts and schedules during the New Product Introduction (NPI) stage.
- Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for key programs in coordination with account managers.
- Oversee account and quotation management processes to support sales and operational efficiency.
- Actively engage with customers program and engineering teams alongside Account managers to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams internally to drive program success and resolve challenges.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven experience within the electronics industry.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as Molex's daily communication is English-based.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional team environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge and experience with interconnectors.
- Previous experience working with ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers).
- Technical background or familiarity with Datacom/Hyperscale solutions.
