Our Business Development & Brand Partnerships team drives strategic, revenue-generating deals for the company and its roster of genre-diverse artists. We partner with like-minded brands and create unique collaborations spanning artists, music, events, and co-branded product drops.

Position Overview

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Business Development & Brand Partnerships team. This role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and securing innovative deals in Taiwan and across Asia, covering music, events, media, and e-commerce.

The ideal candidate is confident in building and maintaining strong client relationships, has a proven track record in business development, and possesses excellent negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee the global business development and brand partnerships team for a leading music company.
  • Develop brand business from infancy into partnerships with major brands across Taiwan and Asia.
  • Create and drive material revenue streams through deals around artists, live events, media, and e-commerce, including large-scale music festivals, concerts, and nightclub events.
  • Lead exploration into product incubation and emerging categories.
  • Develop and present highly effective pitch decks and client materials, showcasing innovative ideas.
  • Manage client calls and meetings while driving strategic partnership initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, operations, or music partnerships/marketing within the entertainment industry.
  • Proven experience in media, entertainment, branding, and/or agency industries in a direct business development or partnerships role (music industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for the music and entertainment industry with deep industry knowledge.
  • Fluency in Chinese & English (written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • CRM experience preferred.
