Your Role in VT Markets

As the Business Development Executivebased in Taipei, Taiwan, you will report to the Team lead within our Sales team (GCN Team) with a strategic focus on the Great China and Hong Kong Markets. You will lead and develop a team of 2-3 Business Development Executives while also maintaining individual contributor responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with the GCN Marketing team and cross-functional departments to drive market expansion across GCN and Hong Kong. Your critical impact will be establishing VT Markets as a leading presence through effective team leadership, strategic market development, and direct client acquisition that drives significant revenue growth and market penetration.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Job Experience & Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or financial services

Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams while maintaining individual sales excellence

Technical and Functional Skills

Native or fluent Mandarin and English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Cantonese proficiency is a significant advantage

Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and regulatory environment in Greater China and Hong Kong; FX knowledge is highly advantageous

Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and team management platforms

Soft Skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across cultures and organizational levels

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with proven ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies

Other Requirements

  • Flexibility to travel within Hong Kong and the GCN region for campaign or event, team development, and market expansion activities

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand market share in the great China market (GCN)
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, resolving issues via live chat, email, and phone promptly with professional Mandarin communication
  • Address client queries and provide comprehensive information about trading platforms, services, and market opportunities
  • Product Knowledge:Stay up-to-date with our Forex products, market trends, and industry developments. Articulate the benefits of our services to clients
  • Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently delivering exceptional results
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our research, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless client experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify upselling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate client records and provide regular reports on business development activities and market insights
