Your Role in VT Markets
As the Business Development Executivebased in Taipei, Taiwan, you will report to the Team lead within our Sales team (GCN Team) with a strategic focus on the Great China and Hong Kong Markets. You will lead and develop a team of 2-3 Business Development Executives while also maintaining individual contributor responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with the GCN Marketing team and cross-functional departments to drive market expansion across GCN and Hong Kong. Your critical impact will be establishing VT Markets as a leading presence through effective team leadership, strategic market development, and direct client acquisition that drives significant revenue growth and market penetration.

Job Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or financial services
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams while maintaining individual sales excellence
Technical and Functional Skills
Native or fluent Mandarin and English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Cantonese proficiency is a significant advantage
Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and regulatory environment in Greater China and Hong Kong; FX knowledge is highly advantageous
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and team management platforms
Soft Skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across cultures and organizational levels
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with proven ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
Other Requirements
Flexibility to travel within Hong Kong and the GCN region for campaign or event, team development, and market expansion activities
