Job Description
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage stakeholders to elicit, assess, and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Convert business needs into user stories, process diagrams, and detailed specifications to support development and testing activities.
Process Mapping & Improvement
- Capture current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes using established modeling frameworks such as BPMN.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies, recommend enhancements, and support initiatives focused on automation and system optimisation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Organise and facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthrough sessions with business users and government stakeholders.
- Drive alignment across teams by managing discussions on priorities, requirements, and expectations.
Project Support
- Support Product Managers and Product Owners in managing project scope, timelines, and key documentation.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and preparation for user acceptance testing (UAT).
Documentation & Communication
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation such as business requirements, user stories, use cases, and presentations.
- Ensure effective communication between business and technical stakeholders to maintain alignment and clarity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers, Business Architects, Solution Architects, and UX Designers to deliver solutions that are practical, user-focused, and aligned with strategic goals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally with exposure to government or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to document and model business processes and system requirements effectively.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a collaborative and stakeholder-focused approach.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Familiarity with BPMN and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Understanding of business architecture concepts (e.g., capability mapping) would be an added advantage.
