Job Description

The Brand Manager is the major representative of the Brand in one country in terms of sales and marketing activities. Its task is to ensure that the brand is strengthen and developed according to the Brand HQ strategies and that all the sales channels are respectively sustained and developed.

Responsibilities

1.Sales

  • Prepares in agreement with relevant people in the Brand HQ Sales, Marketing and communication plans for the different channels (wholesale, retail, franchising, travel retail)
  • Establishes with brand HQ sales and expense budget
  • Responsible to achieve the sales budget and keep the expense budget under control agreed with CM and HQ Brand President/ Brand VP Sales
  • Formulates and implements sales and distribution strategies
  • Retailers monthly sell-/in/out/stock review

2. Marketing

  • Adapts locally the Marketing and communication concepts for the brand in line with brand&aposs worldwide concept;
  • Planning , Organizing and Supervising on variety of marketing and communication events
  • Strengthens brand position control compliancy and consistency of visual merchandising at POS level
  • Influence Product development with little customizations in order to tailor the product for the local market
  • Create and initiate intensive PR operation media interview toward the Brands and collectors for generating high PR coverage and share of voice in the market.

3. Distribution strategy

  • Developing and Conducting the distribution strategy and distribution Mix that including the wholesale distribution, Retail distribution , duty Free and any others
  • Developing and managing the Corporate boutiques project / Franchised boutiques project according to the distribution strategy
  • Supervising and Managing the boutiques design / construction / opening event / promotion plan , CRM , and Training of both corporate and Franchised boutiques
  • Managing the retail team

4. Pricing and Inventory

  • Closely monitor the inventory and the back log ensuring that the goods are ordered, shipped and delivered timely
  • Decides the level of inventory according to the business needs
  • Harmonizes the Price list given by the HQ according to the exchange rate ensuring stability to the pricing list
  • Reviewing and Harmonizing the Pricing structure within the high range brands of SWG Taiwan
  • Conducting and supervising the retail discount control policy given by the CM

5. People Management

  • In coordination with Country Manager and HR department define structure, hire quality people, coach and provide training
  • Propose reward based on performance
  • Provide clear objectives
  • Developing the people of the team

6. Budget and Reporting

  • Prepares the division&aposs management report
  • Responsible for the budget, Monthly ER report, balance sheet and income statement for the division

7. Customer Relationship

  • Ensure to maintain a close customer relation helping the customer to stay loyal with the brand and act as a brand ambassador.

Qualifications

  • From 5 to 10 years of Management position in Sales & Marketing
  • English fluent is wanted
