Part-Time Remote Bilingual Content Operations Assistant
About Us
Teacher Gary Platform is a bilingual education + entertainment brand with 1.6M+ followers across Chinese-speaking audiences globally, 100M+ viewers.
We produce a high volume of content short-form videos, course videos, class recordings, podcast clips across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, , YouTube, Bilibili, ). We need someone to keep it all organized.
The Role
This is NOT a video editing role. This is an operations and quality control role.
You'll be responsible for:
- Organizing and tagging raw video recordings (tracking what's filmed, what's edited, what's ready to post, what's live)
- Managing content tracking spreadsheets
- Coordinating upload schedules across platforms
- QA-checking bilingual subtitles (English + Traditional Chinese + Simplified Chinese) for accuracy
- Coordinating with video editors on deadlines and file delivery
- Documenting workflows so they can be handed off or automated later
Requirements
Must have:
- Professional-level English AND Chinese (Traditional + Simplified)
- Strong organizational skills messy spreadsheets should bother you
- Self-directed I'll give you the goal, you figure out the steps
- Comfortable with async communication (LINE, WeChat, or similar)
- Attention to detail, especially for bilingual content accuracy
Nice to have:
- Experience with social media platforms and uploading
- Familiarity with Google Sheets / Drive
- Interest in AI tools for productivity (not required, but a plus)
- Background in education, translation, or content management
