You will guide development teams through the complexities of moving legacy applications into the cloud, ensuring they are not only modernized but also scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives. Accountabilities
- Architect end-to-end Azure-native application solutions utilizing Azure resources.
- Translate modernization blueprints into actionable engineering designs.
- Lead refactoring of legacy applications into .NET 8+.
- Partner with database teams to optimize SQL performance.
- Act as the senior technical leader for application modernization efforts.
- Mentor development teams across UI modernization and API development.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps for automated testing strategies.
- Lead application migration strategies to Azure SaaS/PaaS environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack application development experience using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL.
- Experience in modernizing enterprise applications in Azure PaaS environments.
- Strong background in designing and building MVC applications and APIs.
- Ability to integrate modern applications with legacy systems.
- Competency in CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and cloud governance.
