Our client is a leading MNC Corporate Bank with strong performance in various sectors. They are looking for an AVP/ VP for their Database Management team here in HK.
There will be regional exposure as well as ample opportunities to engage in various IT Systems enhancement projects within the bigger IT department.
The job:
- Database Management & Administration for daily systems and operations
- Configure, maintain and enhance existing DBMS
- Document, monitor and conduct testing on ongoing DBA polices and processes
- Implement and deploy DR, BCP protocols
- Devise DBMS strategies and plans in accordance with departmental direction on transformation
- Take part in projects on IT Systems across different functional teams
The candidate:
- Bachelor's degree holder in a relevant discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in Database Management/ DBA/ Database Engineering
- Experience working in a financial institution/ bank will be an advantage
- Familiarity with DBA & DR operations in regulated institutions
- Strong knowledge of DBMS, SQL Servers, SolarWinds, Unix, Linux
- Proficient in English, Chinese
