Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of SME/middle market and institutional banking clients within the assigned industry/sector
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to expand the client base and deepen existing client relationships
  • Provide comprehensive financial solutions and advisory services to meet the diverse needs of clients, including but not limited to lending, cash management, trade finance, and investment products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., credit, product, and support) to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Actively monitor the market, industry trends, and client needs to anticipate and address their evolving requirements
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the team's strategic initiatives and business plans
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the SME/middle market and institutional banking landscape, including industry-specific knowledge and market trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Proficient in financial analysis, credit assessment, and structuring tailored financial solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong customer-centric mindset
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., finance, business, or economics)
