The Automotive Sales Promoter is responsible for promoting and increasing brand awareness of Gates automotive products, identifying potential customers, supporting sales conversion, and building long-term relationships with parts shops and workshops. The role involves frequent field visits, training activities, and participation in promotional events to strengthen the Gates brand presence in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and enhance awareness of Gates automotive products in assigned areas.
- Identify target customers through surveys, questionnaires, and market observation.
- Encourage customers to switch from competitors to Gates products through specific sales programs.
- Conduct training sessions for parts shops and workshops on products and selling points.
- Register at least 1 official partner shop and 3 standard workshops per month.
- Introduce and support the use of NaviGates Mobile app and social media platforms (Facebook, Line).
- Update customer data accurately in GatesDataMapping.com system.
- Strengthen Gates brand visibility through physical marketing materials (signs, posters, stickers, banners).
- Visit 35 parts shops or workshops per day to maintain relationships and promote sales.
- Support roadshows, exhibitions, and promotional events as required.
Requirements:
- High Vocational Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Automotive, Engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge or experience in automotive parts is an advantage.
- Strong sales and communication skills.
- Possess a personal car and valid driving license.
- Able to travel upcountry as required.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
