Job summary

Summary

The candidate will join Hong Kong Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) Office under Global Markets Division.

This opening is for those who will complete their degree requirements byJuly 2026 and are ready to start working in August 2026. Trainee contract is one year to begin with and renewable for up to two years in total.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the GMD COO Team in daily operations.

  • Carry out statistical studies, business presentation, commercial and trading activity reporting, project management support

  • Review and enhance the various reports produced for or by the Region in connection with our trading & sales activities, including Rates, Credit and FX.

  • Lead specific projects on new business initiatives, regulatory change and process optimization

  • Assist in preparing regulatory filing, including surveys, questionnaires, in coordination with Compliance or other functions

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

. Bachelor / Master degree with strong academic background inAccounting, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Engineering and less than 12 months full-time experiences

Required skills

  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to provide solutions
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
  • Responsible, self-initiative, positive attitude, attentive to details & hardworking

Technical skills required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, programming languages such as Python, Java
