Your Job
As an Associate Technical Project Manager, you will support the Liquid Cooling portfolio by driving tactical execution of critical project elements. Mentored by the Technical Project Manager, you will co-lead a motivated, global, cross-functional team through the New Product Development Process - from project initiation approval through production. Your primary purpose is to move the needle on key business objectives that advance both Molex and its customers to the next level.
What You Will Do
- Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure seamless management of projects, supporting customer finished goods through effective collaboration and communication with internal plant teams and manufacturing partners.
- Own project reporting and communication for management and customers as needed.
- Manage project change control and decision documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain and track macro project schedules and hold accountable functional team members supporting micro schedules.
- Proactively identify, document, and execute risk reduction activities to minimize risks related to cost, quality, and timing that could impact project plan success.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet Molex's expectations for timing, cost, and quality in support of the project plan.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams globally, demonstrating high-level fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Positively drive results within a highly collaborative environment.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and contract manufacturing (CM) facing roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-national teams.
- Experience working within matrixed organizational environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Flexibility to work mornings and evenings to accommodate global meetings.
- Commitment to obtaining PMP certification within one year (company-sponsored).
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Self-driven with a sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to thrive in remote working environments.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin or Vietnamese along with English.
- Experience with SAP enterprise software.
