Your Job

As an Associate Product Manager responsible for supporting the development and management of product lines to contribute to sustainable revenue and margin growth and to help deliver the best return on investment for assigned Enterprise Group products globally.

Our Team

This role partners closely with internal Product Development, Sales & Marketing, and Operations teams and engages externally with customers and vendors. The position supports Enterprise Group products within DSS's CSBU and operates with a global scope.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with Global PM/PM to initiate and maintain project progress, focusing on drawings and sample requests to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer demands.
  • Support development and implementation of strategic product-line business plans that target markets, industries, and customer segments.
  • Monitor product-line trends and emerging technologies and contribute to long-term product planning.
  • Assist in improving the profitability of assigned product line(s) by supporting cost-reduction initiatives, new technology adoption, and quality improvements.
  • Track capacity and support capital investment planning to help meet forecasted demand.
  • Support pricing activities including preparation and review of price requests, maintaining pricing records, and contributing to pricing strategy for assigned product lines; participate in global customer negotiations as appropriate.
  • Contribute to new product development activities to extend and grow the life of assigned product lines; create stakeholder buy-in and collaborate closely with NPD and market-penetration teams.
  • Help optimize the use of engineering and financial resources to improve return on investment.
  • Support development of product promotion and commercialization plans, including sales tools, technical literature, training, and sampling.
  • Perform other product-related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant tertiary discipline.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in product line management or product support within the electronics industry.
  • Experience or demonstrable exposure to product lifecycle activities (NPI through EOL) and familiarity with product P&L concepts (revenue and profitability).
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with good business acumen and an aptitude for sound decision-making.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)


  • Engineering/Science major with a Business minor.
  • Experience in Sales/Marketing or engineering development in high data-rate application industries.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience negotiating with or supporting relationships with electronics OEMs/ODMs and contract manufacturers (CMs).
