About the Role: Liminal Custody is hiring a Finance & Operations Associate to join our team in Taiwan. This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of our financial and operational activities and involves working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, payment processing, and internal controls, along with hands-on experience in managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with local accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and oversee tax filings and reporting, issue monthly GUIs.
Payment Processing
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Ensure timely processing of employee reimbursements, vendor payments, and disbursements.
- Monitor bank transactions and reconcile statements regularly.
Internal Controls & Audit
- Support the implementation and enforcement of internal controls and financial procedures.
- Perform internal audit functions to adhere to local regulations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support compliance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining all financial records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Daily Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Taiwan subsidiary, ensuring efficient and smooth operations across all departments.
- Payroll Processing
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor&aposs degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, in financial management, preferably within the financial services industry, corporate finance and general compliance.
- Strong Knowledge of AR and AP Process,
