Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the current technology landscape, build the architecture blueprint of the current capabilities, and establish the architecture document standard and governance

• Derive the target architecture blueprint, and work out the roadmap to bring Sun Life from the current blueprint to the target one.

• Partner with HK business to understand the business needs and provide solution options. Manage solution architecture design. Provide guidance to solution architects.

• Work with infrastructure, application, and security teams to establish a short term and long term detail action plan to put the roadmap into execution.

• Establish strong relationship with Regional and Corporate Architecture team to align on the target architecture blueprint and roadmap for Hong Kong.

• Manage architecture approval for Hong Kong (PTAB, RTAB and ETAB)

Job Requirements:

• University Graduate and above from Information Technology discipline
• 10+ years of experience in IT, 5 years work as architect
• Experience in building Architecture Blueprints
• Experience in presenting and gathering Architecture Blueprints / Solution approval from Local, Regional, and Corporate Architecture Review Committees
• Strong communication, collaboration, and inter-personnel skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills to get buy-ins from the business stakeholders and Regional and Corporate Architects
• Able to think out of the box in architecture design and resolving conflicts
• Solid experience in defining guiding principles for cloud platform adoption and integration patterns
• Keep update on market information and stay update on the latest technology trend on architecture
• Solid experience in cloud migration strategy
• Solid experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud
• Experience in Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud architecture design
• Experience in container-based architecture design
• Experience in FSI would be an added advantage
• Sound experience with event-driven architecture, DevOps, DevSecOps.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
• TOGAF or relevant is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience will consider as Senior Manager, Architecture
