The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
To assist in contract management, cost monitoring and quantity surveying service for development projects
To participate in feasibility studies and support project budgeting
To oversee budgetary control
To carry out technical review of consultants submissions
To provide technical inputs in projects as required
To assist in preparation of tender and contract documents and ensure smooth and timely tender processes
To coordinate with user parties and assist in performance reporting on contractor and consultants
To review project financial statements and cash flow forecasts to ensure robust financial control
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
Recognised professional qualification(s) e.g. MHKIS(Quantity Surveying) or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years work experience in quantity surveying
Exposure in property developers or consultant firms is preferred
Work experience with NEC Option C contracts is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant computer software and A.I. applications
