Assistant Manager - Safety Training

1. a recognised degree, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health / Construction Safety / Construction Management or other related disciplines
2. a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in leading teams, safety management in construction sites, developing training plans and implementing training programmes for sizeable companies or organisations
3. qualification of Registered Safety Officer (RSO)
4. holder of Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) qualification would be an advantage
5. experience in implementing Smart Site Safety System (4S) and new technologies in construction sites is preferred
6. experience in delivering mandatory safety training courses would be an advantage
7. excellent supervisory skills, resourcefulness, proactive working attitude and willingness to take up extra responsibilities
8. good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to various stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation and
9. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

1. to oversee the daily operation of Safety TrainingCentre and lead the teaching team to ensure smooth function
2. to liaise with the stakeholders on the development and provision of training programmes and / or training schemes to ensure that they meet the needs and demands of the industry
3. to devise strategic marketing plan and to provide marketing support to enhance the Safety Training branding and advance the stakeholder relationship
4. able to work under pressure, detail-minded, independently, and multitask to meet tight deadlines
5. to perform secretariat duties for related working groups and any other relevant meetings and
6. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
