Job Description

Identify and build relationships with reliable parts suppliers in SEA and China.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and build relationships with reliable parts suppliers in SEA and China.
  2. Negotiate favorable terms to ensure competitive pricing and superior part quality.
  3. Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining the highest part quality standards.
  4. Monitor quality, troubleshoot and guide improvements at product production sites.
  5. Overseas business trips (China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, India, Vietnam, etc.)

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher
  2. More than 5 years of experience in procurement operations for automotive electronic products
  3. Proficient in MS Excel
  4. Experience in procurement operations in automotive product development
  5. Experience in specification and schedule coordination, as well as cost negotiations with ODM vendors at the RFQ stage
  6. Experience in progress management during product development
  7. Experience in supporting for mass production launch
  8. Experience in cost reduction negotiations after mass production
  9. Ability to travel overseas (China, India, Vietnam, etc.)
  10. Business-level English proficiency, Chinese language skills (Japanese for daily conversation: not mandatory)
