Assist the Manager, IT in fulfilling the team functions, in particular to refine and improve cloud strategy, policies and standards. Manage the project of public cloud service implementations.
Plan and develop cloud decision framework, cloud reference architecture and governance policy.
Manage, maintain and support current cloud infrastructure and collaborate with services providers to facilitate the adoption and implementation of new Cloud infrastructure and services. Develop procedures to measure results and identify areas for improvement.
Lead, manage and implement the cloud platform infrastructure projects, including different cloud services on multi-cloud environments. Review architecture design, in consideration with policies, governance and cost optimization.
Manage daily cloud operations, including regular maintenance, alerts, change and crisis management so as to ensure timely respond to operational incidents, reduce resolution time and enhance operational systems availability.
Identify and lead the planning, development and implementation of cloud infrastructure technology, security controls and platform related services.
Provide technical support in collaboration with other IT internal teams in the areas related to Cloud infrastructure of the Authority.
Assess sovereignty risks especially on cloud services and landing zones. Define relevant exit plans regarding technology, architecture and security perspectives.
Requirements
University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or related disciplines
Certifications in relevant cloud platforms and/or TOGAF are highly desirable
Minimum 6 years of experience of managing Cloud Infrastructure and solution maintenance works or projects
Proven expertise with major cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud, Huawei)
Experience in IT infrastructure architecture with multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments
Solid experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT/cloud infrastructure solutions
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection methodologies
Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
