Assistant Manager, IT

Responsibilities:

• Act as the project manager of Data Analytics Projects to interpret trends, insights, performance gaps or opportunities. Use advance research techniques and work closely with user departments as identify business insights based on data analysis results

• Design and review themed data assets for AA and the Airport Community for data-driven operations and analytics

• Design and implement standards, policy and interface specifications for Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) operation

• Implement, initiate and support all stakeholders to deliver data-driven innovation projects, including reaching out to research academia for commercialising innovative applications in the airport community

• Assist Manager, IT in defining standard and governance regarding data analysis including tools and system architecture

• Nurture and support data literacy within HKIA

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in any disciplines, preferably in Data Management, Data Science, Information System, Computer Science, Airport Management or other related disciplines

• Minimum 6 years working experiences including experience in airport / airline operations, delivering data analytics and business innovative projects

• Good exposure and experience in managing data analysis projects in operational context

• Hands-on experience in data processing and associated toolkits, such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL and Excel. Experience in data modelling and analytics using Python, R, DataRobot or Dataiku is an advantage

• Good communication and organizing skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is highly preferred
