Job Description

Our client is a world-leading multinational market player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. It is consistently ranked among the top global confectionery players and is synonymous with premium quality, iconic brand building, and a deeply ingrained family heritage.

Due to continued expansion, they're currently having an opening for an Assistant Logistics & Demand Planning Manager to support directing the monthly S&OP procedure, overseeing 3PL partners, and working closely with the teams in charge of sales, marketing, and customer service to reach freshness goals and provide excellent service. In order to surpass service level standards, it also entails cultivating solid connections with distributors and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To guarantee ongoing product availability and the accomplishment of KPIs, such as ideal stock levels, freshness, and service performance, commercial and supply teams should coordinate their projections.
  • Prepare for and take part in monthly S&OP meetings; plan and conduct monthly meetings with the supply and commercial teams.
  • Analyze demand patterns and modify inventory plans in accordance with them; assist executive forecasting meetings and obtain management approval of monthly projections, guaranteeing alignment with supply requirements.
  • Oversee 3PL activities, such as transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • Maintain logistics SOPs, execute inventory counts, and make sure compliance is followed.
  • Evaluate performance on a regular basis, set KPIs, start improvements, and keep cost controls in place.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping, including the distribution of containers.
  • Establish import and warehousing plans to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee tenders and assess network resources to meet corporate requirements.
  • Make sure all IT tools are operating properly, including software evaluations, enhancement requests, ticket handling, EDI troubleshooting, and tool rollouts.
  • Track logistics expenses against financial goals, make sure vendors are following the terms of the contract, and deal with any violations.
  • Perform root cause analysis to reduce risks and put cost-cutting and operational efficiency measures into action.
  • Lead warehouse audits, promote continuous improvement, and make sure partners adhere to Ferrero's quality and safety standards.
  • Encourage team growth by offering continuous coaching and support; improve performance and capacities by allocating the required resources and tools.

Candidate Profile:

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL and distributor management, shipping, transportation, storage, planning, and inventory control, along with relevant expertise in logistics, demand planning, or supply chain management; demonstrated ability to oversee S&OP procedures and facilitate frequent demand reviews; and thorough comprehension of KPI management.
  • Strong data analytics and project management capabilities Outstanding leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to strike a balance between corporate priorities and operational requirements.
  • Team management experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI and SAP ECC.
  • English and Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a must.
