Datacolor is actively seeking a talented Applications Support Engineer, Textile Industry to join our global workforce.

Position Summary:

Provide technical support to customers in textile dyeing & finishing industry, including software installation, operational training & applications support for Datacolor products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

You:

  • Provide product training to customers for Datacolor instruments and software systems, related to color quality control & formulation.
  • Provide applications support to customers and assist them in troubleshooting for application-related problems.
  • Utilize Salesforce (CRM) efficiently to record & manage customer information in compliance with the service & support procedures, and KPIs.
  • Provide internal technical product support, including product trainings, and pre-sales technical support.
  • Assist the product development and update process by providing feedback on customers requests.
  • Prepare technical documentations on products and industrial applications.
  • Assist in trade shows by giving technical support and demonstrations.
  • Prepare and give presentations for technical seminars.
  • Service Contract sales and achieve a certain annual contract sales target.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in textile chemistry/technology or other relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience in textile color formulation & textile laboratory environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer support & service management.
  • Proven interpersonal & communication skills with customers and internal departments.
  • Excellent communication skill in spoken & written English.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tool.
  • Frequent travelling within Taiwan. Overseas travel as necessary.
  • Experience in textile industry and color management.
