As an Analyst - Supply Chain, you will gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving supply chain operations. You will identify underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements or resolutions to problems. Additionally, you will perform analytics and statistical modelling on large data sets to optimize supply chain operations workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. You will apply mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques to determine and forecast the cost/availability of raw materials, customer demand, production capacity, availability of cost effective shipping, etc. You will also create data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify Supply Chain operations improvements and simulate the impact of proposed initiatives. You may partner with business line managers to understand and frame operational problems for further analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Handling Import & Export Logistics Planning & Execution.
  • Planning most suitable domestic and/or international transportation routes & modes (ocean freight, air freight, express, trucking) based on product characteristics and customer requirements.
  • Handle booking arrangements, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill issuance and shipment tracking.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers, providing regular shipment status updates.
  • Assist the sales team in estimating freight costs and confirming applicable tariff classifications.
  • Customs Clearance & Compliance - Preparing and submitting import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, power of attorney, etc).
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and clearance agents to ensure smooth customs clearance.
  • Review and confirm potential duties, taxes, penalties, inspection requirements, or customs examinations.
  • Assist in resolving customs-related issues, shipment delays and claims.
  • Inbound & Outbound Operations - Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against Purchase Orders & Packing Lists.
  • Inspect packaging condition, product quality, and labeling accuracy.
  • Perform system receipt transactions in ERP/WMS.
  • Conduct labeling, repacking, or kitting as required.
  • Arrange stock put-away and proper storage allocation.
  • Report discrepancies (shortage, damage, incorrect items).
  • Perform picking and checking according to shipping orders.
  • Handling packing, carton labeling, and shipment preparation.
  • Arrange transportation scheduling and delivery appointments.
  • Prepare shipping documents (delivery note, packing list).
  • Ensure system posting and inventory updates are completed accurately.
  • Track shipment status and confirm proof of delivery.
  • Inventory Management - Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Ensure system records align with actual inventory.
  • Propose inventory optimization and warehouse space utilization improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Busisness or related required
  • 2 years preferred of analytical pricing, purchasing or finance.
  • Ability to generate accurate and timely analysis using advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong data mining, aggregaton and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and manage process to finalize open items pending from external sources.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic.
  • Effective organizational skills.
