An International logistics firm is seeking for Airlfight specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage freight inquiries, quotations, and liaise with local and international clients.
- Assist clients with claims, payment issues, and pending shipments, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication.
- Track the entire shipment lifecycle, from booking to delivery, and keep clients informed with regular updates.
- Support the sales team by aiding in client quoting and pursuing business opportunities. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and sales, to facilitate smooth freight services.
- Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and offices to secure competitive pricing for clients. Conduct thorough reviews of received pricing for accuracy and completeness.
- Compile final pricing proposals based on RFQ documents for client submission.
- Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold service standards and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks and special assignments in accordance with managerial instructions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners and clients to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 2to3years'experienceinfreightforwardingorlogisticscustomerserviceroles.
- Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytoeffectivelyliaisewithclientsandinternalteams.
- Strongorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail,withtheabilitytomanagemultipletaskssimultaneously.
- Proficiencyinnegotiationandproblem-solving,withacustomer-centricapproach.
- Familiaritywithfreightforwardingprocesses,includingbooking,documentation,andcustomsregulations.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyinafast-paced,team-orientedenvironment.
- Adaptabilityandflexibilitytorespondtochangingbusinessneedsandpriorities.
- Preferably1yearofrelevantworkingexperiencehowever,candidateswithoutpriorexperiencewillalsobeconsidered.
