The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
The job holder will provide administrative and secretarial services to Director, Human Resources, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Organize Director's diary efficiently, liaise with external and internal parties at all levels for meetings or activities, and ensure that the Director is fully briefed on internal and external meetings/activities by organising and compiling all meeting materials
Answer and screen the incoming calls, take messages as appropriate, and receive visitors in a professional manner
Handle queries tactfully, assessing their urgency and significance, and taking appropriate action in a timely manner
Draft and prepare Chinese and English correspondence/emails, meeting notes, presentation decks or any documents upon request
Coordinate and support division's administrative and logistics operations
Handle confidential tasks or assignments of a highly sensitive nature in a professional manner
Requirements:
At least 1 year's secretarial and administrative experience for degree holder, candidates without the required academic qualification but possessing more than 2 years relevant experience and formal secretarial training will also be considered
Good co mmand of spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, capable of multi-tasking, and able to prioritise information and tasks
Hands-on experience of PC knowledge and operation of common software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
