Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers. Special focus on cost management and tax planning under maquiladora arrangements.
Ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at month-end and year-end
Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the periodical and ad hoc corporate internal audits
Coordinate with manufacturing team and assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness and relevance to business results
Support manufacturing team and perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by local and corporate leadership
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
