Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of financial processes and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing timely financial data.
  • Participate in audits and prepare documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational efficiency.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
