Job Description

  • Responsible for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual close accounting and tax requirements for TW site, including, but not limited to, journal entries, reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, analysis of activities and reporting. Specific areas of responsibility may also include primary ownership of corporate fixed assets accounting process and capital authorization approval process, execution and continuous improvement of monthly COPA assessment process, various judgmental accruals and reserves, as well as assistance with other miscellaneous closing activities.
  • Support costing accountant on product costing and inventory accounting are executed with accuracy and integrity, standardized, consistent in a necessary base
  • Partners with peers of the team, as well as cross functionally with those in other areas such as Manufacturing team, Analytical Finance, Treasury and corporate Tax to deliver overall company objectives.
  • Process invoices and other payments supporting employee reimbursement, drive problem resolution on large complex vendors. Validates outstanding accruals and open purchases provides answers to all internal and external payment inquiries in a manner that is professional and timely, if applicable.
  • Manage incoming payments and remittance advice, apply and support bank accounts daily maintenance like bank balance management, local bank account annual update and maintenance.

  • Responsible for the monthly and quarterly closing process for multiple separate company financial statements including reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Improves and assists in the creation of new processes to optimize and standardize our global accounting processes.
  • Partners with peers on the team as well as cross functionally with those in other areas such as Analytical Finance, Treasury and Tax.

  • Supports other activities and processes such as SOX, external audits and internal audits.
  • Responsible for the corporate fixed assets accounting process.
  • Performs other special projects as needed.

Scope

This role faces several key customers as part of both daily responsibilities and as part of project teams, including Manufacturing, Finance, Business Unit Finance and Corporate Analytical Finance.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or above. Major in accounting/tax.
  • Audit firm experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Accounting certificate
  • Familiar with MS office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • SAP experience is preferred

Required Length & Type Of Experience

  • At least 3 years-experience in finance

Required Certification, License, Registration

  • ACCA is a plus
