Your Job

To growth market share, managing profitability within the assigned core accounts. Responsible for preparing and/or implementing financial and non-financial plans in support of reaching account objectives. Develop & maintain strategic relationships to increase penetration and share position within the assigned account(s).

Product: Wire/ Cable Harness

What You Will Do

  • Manages strategic and tactical activities within target marketing. Identifies and addresses with management gaps and overlaps in resources and/or issues to support accounts per account plan
  • Identify the Total Available Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), Molex Share, Competition, and the CAGR
  • Analyze the gap in TAM/SAM/Share within the assigned accounts. Understand the accounts and competition landscape e.g. competitive strengths, weaknesses, etc. Develop account penetration/growth strategy and plan
  • Identify the ecosystem, the dynamics, the technology roadmaps, the application trends, the competition, the customer needs/requirements; and develop a clear roadmap (1-3 years down the road)
  • Builds a strong relationship within account to achieve customer fellowship and operational excellence
  • Drive the design activities and grow CRM pipeline and revenue. Resolve and escalate if necessary, any issues identified as bottlenecks
  • Become a subject matter expert and provide consultative selling by demonstrating the value and benefits of total solutions, tailored to a customers requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals and proof-of-concepts, both in person and through digital interactions.
  • Prepare operational reports to track and communicate status of goals (e.g. forecasting, new identifying business opportunities, and implementing program status)
  • Serve as the industry expert and communicate the products and applications and opportunities with management and product divisions. Identify new future products and supports/sponsors the development of these new products across accounts.
  • Understand / communicate and potentially conducts research to analyze competitive position, market trends, and technological direction at the account(s). Keeps the organization informed of trends, opportunities, and needs on the accounts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Prepare and present regular detailed reports, market insights and forecasts to guide strategic decision making by the management team.
  • Travel is needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Formal electronics qualification (Bachelor degree or above)
  • More than 8 years sales/marketing experience in electronics and or connector industry
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the connectivity, telecommunications, semiconductor or technology sector.
  • Economic Thinking and Principle Based Management when developing new business for leveraging your comparative advantage in team collaboration and opportunity execution.
  • Align AC (Automation Connectivity), IC (Industrial Communication), and E&P (Electrical & Power) Product Management with customer expectations, enabling the Industrial Business Unit to strategically develop and publish a Product Roadmap, which meets customer expectations and user requirements.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to effectively build relationships, respond positively to situations, and influence others.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and conduct effective presentations and delivery of message that fits the audience (customers and Molex personnel).
  • Foster teamwork to manage conflicts, promote creativity, and resolve issues.
  • Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload.
  • Understand connector and cable production process or consumer device applications.
  • Positive attitude in work & learning.
  • Reliable, initiative, commitment and integrity
  • Can complete assigned task independently

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous experience infrastructure & automation equipment application with Cable harness applications a plus.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin speaker and writer
